Cheryl Verbruggen

Finance Director

Cheryl Verbruggen is director of finance for Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences.

Prior to joining Henry Ford + MSU, Verbruggen was director of budget and financial planning at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she provided oversight for the school-wide financial functions. Verbruggen began her career at Beaumont Hospital and has held finance leadership roles at Wayne State and Oakland University, including serving as vice dean at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Verbruggen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oakland University and master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University.
