Monthly Lectures | Third Wednesdays
The Henry Ford + MSU Distinguished Cancer Research Lecture Series aims to highlight exciting, cutting-edge cancer research, generate new ideas, and build new collaborations among Henry Ford Health, Michigan State University, and researchers at other cancer centers.
Faculty members, research staff, graduate/medical students, and health care professionals are invited to join this seminar series. Lectures will be on the third Wednesday of every month from noon to 1 p.m. (EST/EDT), alternating between the Henry Ford Health campus in Detroit and the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
No registration is required to participate in the Henry Ford + MSU Distinguished Cancer Research Lecture Series.

About the Speaker
Eric A. Mellon, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-scientist and professor research of Radiology at Michigan State University, with a clinical appointment at Henry Ford Health, where he serves as senior member and translational research vice-chair of radiation oncology. He is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in brain, spine, and skull base tumors. Mellon leads multidisciplinary, multi-institutional research programs integrating advanced imaging, radiotherapy, and molecular biomarkers to improve precision cancer care. He is actively involved in national clinical trials, mentoring trainees, and building collaborative translational research infrastructure across MSU and Henry Ford Health.
