In this session, participants will explore tech tools that enhance literature discovery and synthesis, with live demonstrations, workflow tips, and real-world use cases to support EBP, QI, and research.

The Henry Ford + MSU Nursing Scholarship Webinar Series offers a step-by-step exploration of the nursing scholarship journey, from generating ideas to sharing results through practical, scenario-based learning.

On September 18 participants can expect the following:

• An introduction to three  platforms and their role in contemporary literature review practices.
• Live demonstrations showcasing how each tool supports literature discovery, tracking, and synthesis.
• Strategies for integrating these tools into your workflow, including project mapping, citation chaining, and alert functions.
• Comparisons of platform features, strengths, and limitations to guide informed selection.
• Use cases illustrating how these tools support EBP, QI, and research across clinical and academic settings.

This monthly Henry Ford + MSU partnership webinar series offers a step-by-step exploration of the nursing scholarship journey, guiding participants from idea generation to project dissemination. It features practical, scenario-based learning that applies to both clinical and academic settings. Attendees will gain tangible strategies and resources to engage in research, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and program evaluation. Through collaborative discussions, peer examples, and mentorship, the series supports nurses across all roles and experience levels. The overall focus is on achieving real-world impact by translating knowledge into effective practice.

Target Audience

Nurses, advanced practice nurses, and healthcare professionals who are curious about or actively engaged in research, evidence-based care, innovation, quality improvement, or program design/evaluation. Whether you're new to scholarship or refining your expertise, this series offers a space for shared learning and growth.

Each webinar session is approved for one (1) nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) credit. Henry Ford Health is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
