Henry Ford + MSU CE Session Palliative Care

This session explores the principles of palliative care, including recognition of the dying process, management of end-of-life symptoms, and compassionate family support. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and communication strategies to promote comfort, dignity, and empathy for patients and their loved ones throughout the end-of-life journey.

Continuing Education Information 

• Contact Hours: Participants completing the event and the post session evaluation will receive 1 continuing education contact hour.
• Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to describe palliative care, name the signs of the dying process, apply end of life symptom management and apply empathy in responding to families.
