Henry Ford + MSU Children's Health Symposium

The Henry Ford + MSU Children's Health Symposium will bring together researchers, clinicians, trainees and health care professionals from Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health to share knowledge, foster collaboration and advance pediatric research and care.

This year’s theme is “Teaching Beyond the Clinic: Shaping Learners, Strengthening Teachers.”

The program will include presentations from:

• Uzma Shah. M.D. 
  Henry Ford Chair of Pediatrics
• Amy Williams, Ph.D. 
  Henry Ford Director of GME Well-being
• Heather Burrows, M.D., Ph.D. 
  University of Michigan Pediatric Residency Program Director and Associate Chair of Education for the Department of Pediatrics
• Gurbaksh Esch, M.D. 
  MSU Director of the Leadership in Community and Public Health certificate program with an Rx Kids program

Breakfast will be served at 7:15 a.m. The final agenda will be shared closer to the symposium date. 

This event is free, but due to limited space registration is required to participate.The deadline to register for the symposium is Friday, October 9, 2026.
